Maddy was selected to play on the Granite State New England Hockey Festival team.After a grueling tryout, Maddy Nichols was selected to the Granite State New England Hockey Festival Team as a forward. She'll be representing New Hampshire and playing in a weekend tournament against teams from all the New England states.

Welcome to the 29th Annual NEW ENGLAND YANKEE CONFERENCE FESTIVAL. We are excited to announce that New Hampshire will be the host for the 2010 event.
Over 750 boys and girls from Connecticut, Maine, New Hampshire, Rhode Island and Vermont will converge on Southern New Hampshire to skate at this event. Each of these attending players (ages 12-17) will attend a series of tryouts in their home state in hopes of representing it at this tournament. It is certainly an honor to be chosen.
